Destiny DeLinda Announces New Fundraising Program

Louisville, KY, August 28, 2001 - Destiny DeLinda released a CD of children's "positive-message" music entitled "The Wonder of You" earlier this year. Although the singer/songwriter/musician has traditionally performed and recorded in the folk and country arenas, she was inspired by her daughter, now eight years old, to write for children. This release was originally recorded as a personal gift for her daughter but the growing demand for copies persuaded her to have the CD manufactured for resale.

Since its original release in March of this year, she has enjoyed a positive response to the recording and recently developed a fundraising program for schools and daycares. Those who desire to participate are being provided with the usual fundraising brochures and materials, only this time, the product for sale is a music CD. All children who participate in the program are rewarded with an age-appropriate free gift and the top "producers" at each school receive a "grand prize".
