CoogFundraisers.com launches CoogFans fundraising into high gear

March 27, 2004--myTexasTown.com, a Greater Houston Satellite Affiliate of the HardDrive City Network, has announced an agreement to partner with CoogFans.com to help support and increase their grassroots fundraising. In 2003 CoogFans was able to contribute more than $10,000 to Cougar Pride and the University of Houston Athletics programs. Aided by technology, and using the Power of the HardDrive City Network, 2004 promises to be an even greater year.

CoogFundraisers.com is a special interest site within myTexasTown that will contain links to CoogFans signature merchandise, responsible for about half of 2003's fundraising total, and links to other CoogFans fundraising items, including a section of beautiful antique furniture. It will also feature HardDrive City's Webspaces and many of HardDrive City's other proprietary cause marketing tools. CoogFans will also contain news and information of interest to CoogFans supporters.

A Webspace is unlike any online cause marketing fundraising tool available. Webspaces are available in a number of categories, such as creative webspaces, classified ads, and business directories. For a donation of $10 per year -- 100% of net proceeds from Webspaces sold attributed to CoogFans supporters will benefit CoogFans. A Webspace can contain up to 10,000 words and up to 5 images. Webspaces may be reused, and can be moved from one category to another.

CoogFans will soon be announcing a contest involving Webspace columns – giving their fans a chance to voice their opinions in a friendly competition while raising funds for the programs they support.
